Owner Tiffany Jones, talks Peridot Sweets
"Cakes and sweets have always been a passion of mine. Although I obtained a B.A. in Psychology from UCSD (and even completed graduate coursework in Teaching), pastry has always just been my “thing.” I decided to take a chance and move to San Francisco to attend California Culinary Academy’s Baking & Pastry program. Since 2004, I’ve been making cakes for multiple Four Seasons Hotels – including Las Vegas and California – and was most recently the Assistant Pastry Chef of the Mirage Hotel & Casino. I have even worked under Meilleur Ouvrier de France (MOF) Pastry Chef, Stephane Treand. I have a keen eye for detail and I absolutely love making brides’ and parents’ dreams come true when it comes to sweets! Welcome to Peridot Sweets! Started in November 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada, we are a boutique bakery specializing in custom cakes, dessert displays, and edible wedding and party favors. First glance to last bite, we have always prided ourselves on the design and flavor of every creation we make.
Everything is made entirely from scratch and tailored to fit your celebration and theme, ensuring lasting memories for you and your guests. We use only the freshest, highest quality ingredients; just the thought of using vegetable shortening in any of our products makes us cringe. So you won’t find any fake flavors here (we even make our own vanilla extract with real vanilla beans!).
